ROBO · FOR MAC · EARLY BETA
Download Robo.
Free to use every day, up to a daily limit. No account and no card. Ask her why the sky is blue and watch her draw it, or ask her how to do something on your Mac and she shows you where to click.
Opening it the first time
- Open the downloaded file and drag Robo into Applications.
- Open Robo from Applications. macOS says it cannot check the app, because this beta is not notarised by Apple yet. Click Done. Do not click Move to Trash, or you will have to download it again.
- Open System Settings, then Privacy & Security. Scroll down to the line about Robo and click Open Anyway, then Open.
- Robo appears on your screen with a few first things to try. Ask her why the sky is blue and she draws it on her board. Allow the microphone if you want to talk to her, and screen recording if you want her to see what you see.
The free daily limit
Every copy gets its own allowance each day, including 20 minutes of voice conversation. When it runs out she tells you, and it starts again at midnight UTC. Typing to her, lessons and pictures all come from the same allowance.
What stays on your Mac
Her memory of you, your lessons and your settings stay on your Mac. Your requests go to Google’s Gemini models through our server, which counts how much each copy uses and never stores what you said or what she answered. More in the privacy policy.
This is an early beta
Some things will break. If something does, or she gets something wrong, tell us. Every report becomes a test she has to pass.
